AEPL undertook the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of Electrical and Automation systems for the Water Transmission Network -Booster System executed by Patronics. The goal was to automate and electrify the complete plant operations, enhancing system reliability, operational efficiency, and monitoring capabilities.

Hardware
- PLC System: Schneider Electric (Modicon M580 Series)
- Switchgear: Schneider Electric
- Field Instruments: Flow, Level, Pressure, and Analytical Sensors
- Power Panels: Main Distribution Boards (MDB), Motor Control Centers (MCC), and Control Panels etc
Software
- SCADA System: Schneider CITECH SCADA
- HMI Interface: HMI GTO Series
- Programming Platform: EcoStruxure Control Expert (Unity Pro)
System Architecture
The plant was automated using a distributed control system based on Schneider Electric’s PLCs. The system architecture included:
- Centralized PLC Control Panels
- Remote I/O Modules at Field Locations
- SCADA Server for Plant-wide Monitoring
- Operator Stations with HMI
- Remote Access Capability (optional, based on project scope)
